Keegan Hall Announces Campaign for Lee County Commission, District 2
Running on a Platform of “Infrastructure First” and Next-Generation Leadership
Lee County, FL — Keegan Hall today officially announced his candidacy for Lee County Commissioner in District 2, launching a campaign centered on a simple but urgent priority: putting infrastructure before overdevelopment.
“As someone who lives and works in this community, I see the same thing my neighbors see every day—traffic getting worse, roads struggling to keep up, and growth happening faster than our infrastructure can handle,” said Keegan. “We all know growth is coming, but it has to be done the right way. That means putting infrastructure first.”
District 2 has experienced rapid expansion in recent years, particularly in areas like Estero and South Fort Myers. While growth has brought opportunity, many residents feel that roads, schools, and essential services have not kept pace.
Keegan is running to change that.
“This campaign is about making sure the people who already live here are not left behind,” he said. “We need to prioritize road capacity, traffic flow, and public safety before approving more large-scale development. That’s just common sense.”
Running as part of a new generation of leadership, Keegan emphasized accessibility, accountability, and a long-term vision for the community.
“I’m part of the generation that’s going to live with these decisions for decades,” he said. “We need leadership that’s present in the community, listening to residents, and willing to make tough decisions that protect our quality of life—not just short-term growth.”
Keegan plans to run a highly local, community-focused campaign, meeting directly with residents, attending neighborhood and HOA meetings, and building a grassroots network across Lee County.
“I’m not running to be a politician—I’m running to be a representative,” he added. “Someone who shows up, listens, and puts residents first.”
The campaign will focus on three core priorities:
Putting infrastructure before new development
Addressing traffic congestion and road planning
Protecting and enhancing the quality of life for current residents
Keegan will begin meeting with voters immediately across Lee County and is encouraging residents to share their concerns and ideas for the future of our home.
